Title

Memory in Bloom

Materials and Techniques

Book board, paper, ink, acrylic paint

My pop-up bouquet reimagines childhood memory as something tactile, colorful, and alive. Flowers often have meaning and represent emotions. In this book, they bloom from a single page, much like memories that unfold unexpectedly from small triggers. Each pull-tab leaf holds fragments of childhood memories, suggesting that memory requires participation; we must reach for it, handle it, and sometimes gently tug it forward. Though preserved in paper and paint, the bouquet remains delicate and dimensional, echoing how childhood memories are both constructed and ever-shifting.
